Only the strongest faction could claim the treasure.

Under the gaze of countless living beings, the sky underwent yet another transformation.

A blinding white light blazed in the heavens, as if some precious treasure had tumbled down from the vortex.

Though it was still impossible to make out what it was, the pirates moved with astonishing speed.

"It's a gem! I can sense it!"

At that moment, the most shocked of all was the Gem Cat.

The instant the sky's anomaly appeared, it could feel its Gem Eye trembling madly.

It was like the instinctive drooling at the sight of delicious food after a long hunger.

A racial instinct!

"No way I'm sensing wrong? If it's treasure, we grab it too!!!" Shi Jue shouted at the Gem Cat.

Damn it, there really was a legendary treasure.

Whatever sinister laugh you've got, as long as it's a real treasure, it's a hearty, genial laugh.

As for the two Overlords, he truly wasn't cowed; once Phasing and Void Concealment were activated, those two — not being space-attribute Overlords — would be utterly lost.

Ten billion! Ten billion!

The treasure appeared.

In an instant, countless pet beasts soared into the sky, all rushing toward the vortex at once; it was no longer possible to tell which beast belonged to which faction.

But with a shocking roar and tremor, every beast in midair froze.

"ROAR!!! (Get lost!!)"

Under the gaze of the pirates on the island, a black giant ape, relying on its own leaping power, shot straight up into the air, its whole body radiating a vast Overlord's deterrence — a perfect-grade deterrence that in an instant swept away the pet beasts trying to snatch the treasure like a tornado.

It swung its great arm, and in a flash a King-level pet beast blocking its path was smashed into paste, draining the color from many a pirate's face.

"You're the one who should get lost."

But at that moment, the black ape Overlord was not the only Overlord on the island.

As an equally formidable deterrence spread out, the two Overlord auras formed a standoff in the sky, as if splitting the heavens apart in an instant, making countless pirates wear grave expressions.

Setting aside swarm tactics, these two Overlords were probably the strongest two life forms on the island at present.

"This is meant for Lord Yamata. You — get lost."

In the sky, the serpent-folk also flew up amid the light, forming a standoff with the giant ape; a moment later, the two Overlords were knocked apart by their collision.

But no one expected that just then a third party would cut in: a powerful telekinetic field instantly expanded, blanketing the sky, and by virtue of its attribute advantage it touched the gem first; then, wrapped in telekinesis, the gem vanished swiftly along with ripples in space!

"Courting death!"

Seeing this, the serpent-folk Overlord and the giant ape Overlord were stunned for a moment, then flew into a rage.

One after another they looked up into the sky, toward the direction from which the telekinetic field had just come.

Besides them, countless pirates also keenly locked onto the direction.

Of course, the most shocked at that moment were the pirates near Shi Jin and his group.

Sister Shi, Xiao Qin, and the others, along with the nearby pirates, all saw with their own eyes that it was the Gem Cat beside Shi Jin that had unleashed a mighty power, and while the serpent-folk and the black ape Overlords were off guard, combined telekinesis with spatial ability to teleport the treasure to its side.

Then the treasure vanished in an instant, as if it had never appeared in this world.

In truth, the instant the Gem Cat seized the gem, it had Shi Jin store it away in the ruins space.

Unfortunately, absorbing a legendary-grade resource was no trifling matter and required Shi Yun; otherwise it would have wanted to absorb it right then.

"Meow-ow." At this moment, having snatched the gem, the Gem Cat wore a look of utter delight and excitement.

The instant its telekinesis locked onto the gem, it had already known what gem it was.

It was a legendary-grade gem, the Nine-Colored Jade.

A core crystal that could only be extracted by killing the Totem-level creature, the Gem King Beast!

Legendary-grade resources were all worth over ten billion.

And they were super resources that money could not buy even if you had it.

Among them, the Nine-Colored Jade even counted as one of the finer legendary resources, containing the power of nine attributes!

But snatching the treasure also amounted to becoming a hate magnet on the island.

In an instant, a terrifying deterrence shrouded half the island.

Countless figures raced madly toward this side, among them the serpent-folk Overlord and the giant ape Overlord moving fastest.

They arrived almost in the blink of an eye.

Boom!

The giant ape Overlord landed directly on the ground, smashing out a great crater; amid the smoke, its ferocious gaze fixed on the Gem Cat.

The serpent-folk Overlord followed close behind, arriving with an equally savage look.

This scene nearly frightened Sister Shi, Xiao Qin, Huang Qi, Qin Mingzhi, and the others out of their wits, their tension spiking to the extreme in an instant.

But at this moment, Shi Jin's Gem Cat was still licking its lips, not the least bit afraid of the Overlord-level hostility; from the bone there ran a gene called madness and adventure.

"Courting death!!!"

The Overlord giant ape roared first, but it had also noticed that the Gem Cat was an Overlord, and so did not strike first, fearing the serpent-folk Overlord would reap the fisherman's profit.

"Hand over the treasure!!"

The serpent-folk Overlord looked at Shi Jin and the others with savage eyes and said, "Otherwise, you will become enemies of the entire Yamata Kingdom."

Facing the threat of two Overlords, Shi Jin broke out in cold sweat, yet he still spoke with considerable composure:

"Impossible. Treasures belong to the capable. I will never hand the Immortal Ginseng over to you!!!!"

"You can beat me to death, but I will never hand the Immortal Ginseng over to you!!!"
