Right now Shi Jin was weighing whether or not to bring the bug to this Metamorphosis Gala hosted by a guardian deity creature...

"The bug already had hopes of advancing to a hegemon-tier species. If it entered this, wouldn't that make it even more certain?" Shi Jin made up his mind—he would enter, and who knew, he might even seize the chance to copy a few rare skills along the way.

He firmly believed that his little bug was absolutely the strongest evolved form.

Honestly, this big shot of an evolution prodigy was something else—not only had he bred a whole pile of quasi-divine beasts himself, but he'd also left the Ancient Eastern Kingdom one guardian deity after another. Even the bugs he casually raised had become a national guardian deity, the Butterfly God. Good heavens, the man was practically overflowing with prestige.

A model for our generation, truly worth learning from!
